FAS series couplings – type V – size 204-207

This coupling series is used in high-performance applications that require high torque, high speed, and/or high misalignment capacity, while also demanding oversize bore capability or flange-type mounting. The FE/MS coupling is equipped with O-ring seals housed in resilient carriers to retain oil or grease in sealed-lubrication applications. The FELC/MS Series is designed for continuous lubrication systems, in which lubricant is fed into the coupling at the spacer and discharged at the ends. The exit holes in the rigid hubs provide continuous flow and help prevent the buildup of deposits.

Application: Designed to meet the demands of harsh operating conditions and accommodate large shaft sizes up to 46 inches in diameter. Capable of compensating for all three types of misalignment (angular, parallel, and axial). Description: Shares the same basic design features as Series F (sizes 200 to 207), but offers a misalignment capacity of ± 3/4°. Major components are fully machined from medium carbon steel.

Application: Designed to meet the requirements of vertical shaft applications, with shaft diameters up to 10.25 inches. Capable of compensating for all three types of misalignment (angular, parallel, and axial). Description: The Amerigear FV Series flexible coupling is designed with a bolted center flange to facilitate installation and alignment. The floating sleeve assembly is supported by a support plate and a thrust button inserted between the two coupling sleeves. The optimal spacing between the meshing gears allows for relatively high parallel misalignment capacity. The flanged sleeve design minimizes the distance between bearing housings, supporting easier shaft alignment.

Application: Primarily used in tandem pairs connected by an intermediate floating shaft, or used individually in conjunction with a driving or driven shaft supported by a self-aligning bearing. When used individually, it only compensates for angular misalignment. Description: The Amerigear FS Series flexible coupling consists of one standard flexible half coupling and one rigid half. The bolted center flange facilitates easy installation and alignment.
