Application: Designed to meet the demands of harsh operating conditions and accommodate large shaft sizes up to 49 inches in diameter. Primarily used in tandem pairs connected by an intermediate floating shaft, or individually in conjunction with a driving or driven shaft supported by a self-aligning bearing. When used individually, it only compensates for angular misalignment. Description: Shares the same basic design features as the FS Series (sizes 200 to 207), but offers an angular misalignment capacity of ± 3/4°. Major components are fully machined from medium carbon steel.

The optimal spacing between gear meshes allows for relatively high parallel misalignment capacity. The flanged sleeve design minimizes the distance between bearing housings, making shaft alignment more convenient.
