Application: Designed for modern mill motor applications and standards requiring quick equipment replacement to ensure continuous, uninterrupted operation. Description: The Amerigear FM and FMS Series flexible couplings are designed with a bolted center flange to facilitate easy installation and alignment. The optimal spacing between gear meshes allows for relatively high parallel misalignment capacity. The flanged sleeve design minimizes the distance between bearing housings, making shaft alignment more convenient.

This coupling series is used in high-performance applications that require high torque, high speed, and/or high misalignment capacity, while also demanding oversize bore capability or flange-type mounting. The FE/MS coupling is equipped with O-ring seals housed in resilient carriers to retain oil or grease in sealed-lubrication applications. The FELC/MS Series is designed for continuous lubrication systems, in which lubricant is fed into the coupling at the spacer and discharged at the ends. The exit holes in the rigid hubs provide continuous flow and help prevent the buildup of deposits.

Application: Primarily used in tandem pairs for vertical installation, connected by an intermediate floating shaft, or used individually in conjunction with a driving or driven shaft supported by a self-aligning bearing. When used individually, it only compensates for angular misalignment. Description: The Amerigear FVS Series flexible coupling consists of one standard rigid half and one standard flexible half modified to accommodate a thrust button plate. The bolted center flange facilitates easy installation and alignment.
