High-torque, air-cooled, spring-set, air-released brake
The marine version is specifically designed to withstand the highly corrosive environments typical of offshore decks, where salt mist and direct seawater spray are common.
A specialized 3-part epoxy coating for marine environments, combined with a specially designed anti-corrosion treatment, enhances durability for offshore drilling rig applications.
The brake uses the standard AquaMaKKs housing, with torque plates installed in place of water cooling components.
Additionally, stainless steel torque plates are available as an option for the AirMaKKs SSB brake, ideal for deck applications where direct seawater spray or frequent salt mist exposure occurs.
Available sizes include: 19, 25, 36, and 48 inches (standard AquaMaKKs dimensions).
