Blue and Birch Pasta Bowls, Set of 2These elegantly rustic pasta bowls make a lovely set for informal dining in style for two, whether by candlelight with a good vintage, or accompanied by your fave flick for a night in. The bowls are also ideal to serve sides, salads and fresh fruit for entertaining in style. After throwing the bowls on the wheel, I added a ridged effect to the exterior. Once bisque fired, I hand painted them with a cerulean speckled glaze for a fresh presentation. Set

The wheel-thrown bowl is hand painted with a variegated emerald-green and clear glazes that are fired in the kiln for durability

After firing it in an electric kiln

I hand-painted with runny reactive glazes which combined to create the variegated effect in their final firing

I hand-painted petal-pink buds and brown stems in underglaze before firing it a second time to fuse the pattern to the vase

The necklace includes a 16-inch snake chain in a high-polish gold alloy with a lobster clasp
