Near mint condition with just a few tiny marks on the frame edge (they may be from handling, as I could find no other real signs of use, not even mounting marks). The reel weighs 4. 1 ounces on my scale. Black anodized sideplates with a clear anodized frame, and the reel sports the classic S handle design. Built to hold lines up to a #4. but there is only one spot where you will find a small piece of varnish chipped off the rod

and historical documentation that has heretofore remained mostly unexplored
