Its organically farmed and the vines have an average of 25 years old. This wine is 1005 Clairette a light coloured grape often used for sparkling wine in the Languedoc region. Typical blend, Clairette. 75cl bottle. Abv 13% Bottle condition, capsule excellent, label excellent, wine level high fill.
They use 1005 new oak and the wine is unfiltered at bottling
Although Sociando Mallet was left out of the 1855 classification it is considered equal to many classed growths
Still not a great vintage
The 2010 vintage was exceptional with many top wines made
