It's in excellent unused condition, with no issues to report. Closed in measure 4 1 4 inches in length. Open the knife length is 7 1 2 inches. It was manufactured by W. R. Case & Sons Cutlery Co., a company that has been manufacturing knives since 1889. It has the hallmarked "Rattle Snake" on the blade, as well as the "Case" hallmark. A perfect usable gift
