These particular examples were produced by Gavina in Italy in the 1960s, and were imported and distributed by Knoll. The listed price includes one chair, and we have 4 available for purchase. These chairs have tan canvas upholstery and chromed steel frames that are tubular in nature, emblematic of Breuers best known works. Each chair measures 27 inches

The design features dark brown leather upholstery and has a frame of polished aluminum

The chairs are in very good to excellent vintage condition with light wear from use

and appears to be in nice original condition

If the new buyer would like them oiled to refresh the finish or refinished prior to shipping

though certainly show use and wear

and has a cast-aluminum 5-point swivel base

The chairs came from a corporate office in New York and they appear to have only been lightly used

We have been told that the earliest straight chairs were produced at the Nakashima compound or at a nearby chair shop close to George's studio
